Applying to United Healthcare
- Complete all steps with MMAC and receive your acceptance email
- Create an account on One Healthcare
- Apply to join United Healthcare within their Provider Platform (see notes)
- Monitor your email for any further requests, and a contract.
Notes
- During your sign-up process, it will attempt to confirm your identity. It may ask a series of question, or it may send you a physical letter with a code in it for completing the enrollment process. You will not be able to complete your enrollment without this confirmation.
- No additional credentialing steps are required in United Healthcare.
- Previously, CAQH profiles were required. This is NO LONGER the case. Do not make a CAQH profile.
- Some browsers may not display all screen elements correctly in the Provider Platform. If you have any issues with options not appearing properly, try logging in through a different browser.
